Embrace each day

In 2003, Specky's mama thoughtfully gifted Specky and two of her closest friends/roommates with A Year of Living Consciously: 365 Daily Inspirations for Creating a Life of Passion and Purpose. She wrote a lovely inscription in the cover (always write an inscription if you gift a book - it's THE BEST!!). Most every day throughout that year, the three gals would read from the book, reflect, and try and go about their days as mindful as possible.  Now, 10 years later, Specky has turned to the book again and is reading it with her mama.  They check in via text/email/phone call about the day's conscious practice.  The book is full of quotes by great literaries and really does help one take responsibility for how they go about their day.  It's fun to have a partner in crime to do it with too!
