Beautiful Ruins in a few days. Mr. Walter (yes, Jess is a dude) beautifully weaves stories that wouldn't be connected otherwise. Fabulous writing and colorful character development abound!
Gone Girl is another book you won't be able to put down...but in a very dark and twisted way! Ms. Flynn throws many shocking curveballs in this book and, while we're not usually apt to grab books from the "thriller" section, she has us considering otherwise.
The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry is a delightful read and we really can't believe it's Ms. Joyce's first novel. What begins as a simple walk becomes so much more. We won't ruin it beyond that.
