Nope, this isn't a "stop driving and ride your bike" post - it simply marks Specky's first day back to work since having her daughter 6 months ago that she will not be pumping (aka expressing breast milk, juicin' the hoots, pumping up the jam, etc.) at work. Was there some guilt about the decision? Yep, but she feels justified because she'll continue to nurse at home before and after work and on the weekends (until she doesn't - gasp!). Still, when she starts to feel too guilty and needs a motherhood reality check she refers back to this blog that makes her laugh every time. She also reminds herself of the sweet FREEDOM of not lugging around that oh-so nondescript black pumping backpack. It's been a good run old friend, but Specks is done and done. Guilt-free...mostly.
